Revelation in Creation

How beautiful are the oceans, vast like the Father’s love
The mighty mountains attest his glorious majesty
Under the sun’s light the fields display his radiance
Flowers point to his magnificent artistry
Even the sands, the desert his wrath and the beach his mercy

People fear hurricanes and respect their power
We too should fear the Lord and respect His power
Like the air He is unseen but ever present
Earthquakes are always felt but the source never shows
Much like one senses the Holy Spirit but never sees

Lovely is the morning dew, a testament to His providence
The rainbow represents His promises old and new
Clouds pass overhead as the Lord watches from on high
When we cry out He washes us with the rains
Once we are clean we are white as the snow

Finally the ancient trees show His ageless nature
He is our Rock, the foundation to our salvation
The Lord has told us in part who He is through creation
But we will never know Him in full ‘til He returns
And we will know He has returned…
